For snapping to X-axis

Shift + X Snap to nearest object on the positive X-axis
Shift + Ctrl + X Snap to nearest object on the negative X-axis

For snapping to Y-axis

Shift + Y Snap to nearest object on the positive X-axis
Shift + Ctrl + Y Snap to nearest object on the negative X-axis

 For snapping to Z-axis

Shift + Z Snap to nearest object on the positive X-axis
Shift + Ctrl + Z Snap to nearest object on the negative X-axis
